How I mobilise patients in the ICU - Professor Carol Hodgson

In this episode, Professor Hodgson discusses the findings and implications of the landmark TEAM study on early active mobilisation during mechanical ventilation in the ICU, which was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in November 2022. Professor Hodgson is the Head of the Division of Clinical Trials and Cohort Studies in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and Deputy Director of the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care-Research Centre at Monash University, a specialist ICU physiotherapist at The Alfred, and the lead author of the TEAM study.
